As you can see from the postcard above Allen Nebraska has a long baseball history. The team photo above is dated 1909. Allen Nebraska is a town of more than 400 located about 30 miles west of Sioux City. The current ball diamond is on the south west side of town. It has a dirt infield and a fair outfield. The town has a fairly new school building (2003). The town is becoming a bedroom community with a number of residents commuting to Sioux City for employment.	Picture of current ball park goes here.
