As you can see from the photo above Bancroft Nebraska has a long baseball history. The
photo above is dated 1910.
Bancroft Nebraska is a town of more than 500 located northwest of West Point. The current ball diamond is on the south west side of town. It has a dirt infield and a fair outfield. The town had a population of more than 1,000 around 1910 but as the influence of the railroad declined the population also declined. |
