Fairbury had a new manager for the 1936 season. Edward William "Glass Arm Eddie" Brown had managed the Omaha Western League team in 1932. He started his career with Superior in the NSL in 1913. He had a seven year major league career with three different ball clubs. The 44 year old still had a good eye for the ball, averaging .322 in 31 games.
Fairbury was not able to complete the 1936 season. When Lincoln under Pid Purdy folded in July, Fairbury also agreed to stop playing in order to complete the season with 4 teams.

Pete Filbert averaged .273 in 10 games. The 22 year old
started with Lincoln in 1933. His last year was with Yakima in 1940.
Tom Brill averaged .375 in 16 games.
Lee Craig averaged .300 in 53 games. Lee started as a pitcher with Ponca City in the class "D" Southwestern League in 1926. He made it to the class "A" Western League with Oklahoma City in 1927.
Everett Silvey averaged .271 in 21 games.
Harry Schmiel was an 18 year old who started his professional career with Fairbury in 1936. He averaged .280 in 59 NSL games. He also played for Sioux Falls during 1936. He played for Fairbury, Sioux Falls, Springfield, Columbus, Houston, Decatur, New Orleans and Sacramento between 1936 and 1942. After the war he returned to Waterloo in 1946. Then he played for Paris, Oklahoma City, Henderson, Sherman-Denison, Charlotte, Anniston, Thibodaux, Saginaw and Lakeland befor hanging up his spikes in 1951.
Abe Swick averaged .335 and was picked up by Beatrice after Fairbury folded.
Corwin Stauss averaged .254.
George Bradley averaged .282 in 116 games for Fairbury and Beatrice. The 22 year old from Greenwook Arkansas was in his first professional year. He played for Fairbury in 1937 and Johnstown in 1938. He has a four game career in the major leagues with the Saint Louis Browns in 1946. He played professional ball from 1936 throught he 1947 season.
Henry Werner caught 16 games and averaged .208.
Robert Austin was behind the plate for 21 games and averaged .219.
Floyd Anderson averaged .263 in 15 games.
Carl Keister averaged .148 in 16 games.
Charles was 8-6 in 32 games.
Maury Newlin was a 22 year old rookie from Bloomingdale Indiana. He was 8-17 in his rookie year. He made it to the show in 1940 when he played in 1 game for the St. Louis Browns. He also played in 14 games for the Browns in 1941. He finished his professional career in 1948, playing for Bearmont in the Texas League.
Kujath was 1-7 in 12 games.
