Grand Island was last in the league in 1913. Omar Firestine was manager in 1913. He also played in 105 games and averaged .296. He played for five years in the Texas League and also had stints in the Iowa League and the Western Association.

Roster:
Charles Farley had a .325 average in 60 games at first base.

At second base was Joseph Smith He averaged .299 in 99 games and had 46 errors to lead the team.

Chuck Ward was in the dirt at third base. He averaged .270 in 66 games. He started his career when he was 17 years old with Falls City in the MINK league. He then played for GI in 1913 and 1914. In 1917 he made it to the major leagues with Pittsburg. He played for Pittsburg and Brooklyn from 1917-1922.

Chat Brown was in 18 games and averaged .136.

Thomas Poteet put on the tools of ignorance for Grand Island in 1913. He averaged .243 with the wagon tongue.

Left field was handled by E Rushenberg. He averaged .244.

Clay Schoonover was in center and averaged .363 for the season.

A. Downey was in right and averaged .260.

Pitchers:
Claire Roberts ws 3-9 in 12 games.

R. Artley was 8-15.

Lee Franklin was 5-11 for the year.
