The Nebraska State League was resurrected for the 1922 season. Grand Island was a strong member of the first iteration of the league which lasted from 1910-1915.
Lincoln was the largest city in the league. Lincoln acquired a Western League franchise for the 1924 season and left the NSL. The league then morphed into the Tri-State league and picked up Sioux City and Sioux Falls for the 1924 season. The league folded in 1924 as they could not meet expenses.
