Baseball in Nebraska's second city has a great history. The original Western League team played in Antelope Park. They also played some games at Capitol Beach. The second ballpark was at 2nd and P and went by the moniker Landis Field. After World War II, Lincoln built Sherman Field for their minor league team and the Nebraska Cornhuskers played at Husker Field (renamed Beltzer field).
Eric and Wendy Pastore has created a great photo essay of this ballpark. Here is a link to their fantastic site. Haymarket Park
