By the first week of July, Kearney was in sixth place and looking as a second divsion club. They went on a long winning streak and wound up in third place. Strong pitching by iron man Joe Lotz was a key to their late season run for the title.

Homer Gray returned to tend the garden in 1912. He averaged .258 in 99 games. He played for Kearney from 1910-1913.
Frank Synek returned to the garden in 1912 and averaged .261 in 111 games.
Bechtold played in 89 games and averaged .260.
Pitchers:
"Smoky" Joe Lotz was the leading pitcher for the team and had a 26-9 record for Kearney. In August he had a 17 strike out game and faced only 31 batters in a 1-0 game over Seward.
K. Trimble returned for 1912 and had a 12-12 record.
Stone was 9-10.
Patrick managed a 4-1 record.
