In 2001 the Lincoln Saltdogs began play in the Northern League. Playing in the new Lincoln Haymarket Park, Lincoln once again returned to the ranks of cities hosting minor league baseball.

Eventually, I will have a year by year synopsis of the Saltdogs, but for
