Opening day saw Bryan Wasson "Pat" Flanagan on the mound for McCook. He had a 11-9 record with the Generals in 1931 and was given a tryout with Des Moines. Des Moines returned him to the Generals for more "seasoning". Pat had a career day versus North Platte on this opening day. He struck out 22 Platters setting a Nebraska State League record for K's in a single game.
The Generals were not competitive in 1932. The ownership by committee and revolving door of players resulted in a last place finish, 36.5 games out of first.

Burris 92 games and averaged .288.
Kippert played in left field for 86 games and averaged .278.
Hruska was the main catcher for McCook in 1932. He played in 66 games and averaged .272.
Homan averaged .249 in 49 games as catcher.
Pat Flanagan averaged .247 in 64 games. He was primarily a pitcher but his athleticism saw him in the field for a number of games.
Sattley was in 15 games and averaged .241.
H. Brown played 3rd base in 1932 and averaged .235 in 73 games.
M. Ater averaged .234 in 83 games.
Heath was in 21 games and averaged .286.
Merritt appeared in 14 games and averaged .285.
Pitchers:
Bryon Wasson "Pat" Flanagan was a 21 year old from Mooringsport Louisiana. He was an overpowering pitcher with a touch of wildness. On opening day he had 22 k's while handing North Platte a loss. He was 12-12 in 25 starts. He led the league with 261 k's in 174 innings. He was purchased by Chattanooga at the end of the season.
Henderson managed an 8-12 record in 23 games.
Warneke was 4-8 in 19 appearances.
Zahn was 3-7 in 16 games.
Everett was 2-5 in 8 appearances.
