The 1913 the MINK league continued to have significant financial troubles. The Falls City and Humboldt franchises collapsed on June 17th and the league disbanded.
A number of the Nebraska City players were picked up by other teams after the MINK league disbanded.
Pat Conway , a pitcher for Nebraska City was sold to Sioux City in the Western league for $500.00 after the 1912 season. After that did not work out Duckey Holmes loaned him to the Racine team. At the start of the 1913 season Pat was back pitching for Nebraska City. After the league folded, he was picked up by Fremont in the Nebraska State League.
Goldwaite, joined the team as a catcher before the 1912 season. He was a regular for 1912 and returned for the 1913 season. He was also picked up by the Fremont Pathfinders.
Jack Forester the manager of the Nebraska City team was hired as an umpire in the Nebraska State League. McKnight who played second base for the team was picked up by Kearney and McNeil headed for a position with Seward. Johnny Beltz went to Grand Island and Farwell went to Kansas to try to find a position in the Kansas State League.
