Pender Nebraska is a town of about 1,000 people in Northeast Nebraska. The main ballpark in town is in Memorial Park and is the Dave Nitzschke Baseball Field. The field was established in 1990.
The park has multiple diamonds with Dave Nitzschke Field being the primary diamond. The stands are aluminum bleachers with a wood roof overhead to provide shade. The stands will hold a lot of people. You would expect this diamond to be in a much larger town.
The field is in excellent condition with an exemplary infield and well maintained outfield. It is a nice place for baseball.
