Oscar Graham was a Plattsmouth Nebraska native who made his professional debut with the Omaha Rourke's in 1901. The southpaw was 6-10 for Omaha that year and 1-8 with Rock Island in the III league.

He returned to play for Omaha in 1902 where he managed a 16-17 record. The lure of the left coast beckoned and he finished the year in the PCL where he had a 6-9 record.

In 1903 he led the minors with 49 hit batters while pitching for Oakland. He had a 27-28 record. Yes that is not a typo, a 27-28 record, 56 decisions in 59 games played.

He pitched in Oakland until 1907 when he made his major league career with Washington. He had a 4-9 record in 20 appearances.

From Washington his minor league career went from Minneapolis to Indianapolis to Milwaukee to Wheeling. From Wheeling to Battle Creek to Wichita to Evansville to Moline to Joplin. Then back to Moline and finishing in Rock Island in 1919. In all he pitched in 628 minor league games and had a lifetime 273-260 record.

After his playing career he settled in Moline. He died there in 1931.
