The city park in Fairbury Nebraska is a mature park close to the main business district. It is the site of Quinn Field which was and is the main baseball park in town. It was the home of the Fairbury Jeffersons of the Nebraska State League in the 1920's and 1930's. It is currently the home of the local legion and high school teams. The field is multipurpose and and the outfield is part of the football field. While the field is well maintained the grandstands are typical aluminum. The park has a great history it is too bad the current version lacks character. |
