Dennis Bockewitz was a regular at first base in 1913. He
played
in 110 games and averaged .361 for the season. Dennis started with the
Cedar Rapids Rabbits in 1906 and played in the NSL in 1910-1914.
Edward William "Glass Arm Eddie" Brown was a 20 year old from Milligan Nebraska. He made his professional debut with Superior in 1913. He played short stop and in the outfield for the Brickmakers and averaged .427 in 18 games. In 1914 he was a regular for Superior and in 1915 he played for Fairbury until the league collapsed. He played for Mason City, San Antonio and Indianapolis in the minor leagues. he made his major league debut with New York (N) in 1920 and played for three different teams in his seven year major league career.
Wilder Gray was a regular in the infield and averaged .322 in 89 games. He played in the Kansas State League in 1906, the Western Association in 1908-1910 and came to Superior in 1912.
Paul Obst handled the hot corner. He averaged .229 in 112 games. He moved to Grand Island in 1914 and played for Macon in the South Atlantic League in 1916.
Left field saw W. Thiessing for 104 games and he averaged .308.
In center field was Walt Meinert (sometimes spelled Minert). He averaged .296 in 107 games. He was picked up by the St. Louis Browns at the end of the season. He played in 4 games for the Browns in 1913. He played for Burlington in the Central Association in 1914 and played in the minor leagues through the 1925 season.
George Landreth averaged .385 while playing 96 games in right field. He started with the Topeka White Sox in the Western Association in 1906.
Pitchers:
Dazzy Vance was a 22 year old pitcher. He was was 11-14 for the year.
Clemens was 1-3.
Miller was 4-7 in 11 appearances.
